Inspired by majolica pottery, which is famous for its embossments and attention to detail. Majolica Garden Luncheon Plate has a subtle woven background highlighted with a straw colored glaze. Each plate is further highlighted with hand painted, sculpted peony and dogwood flowers and is finished with a filigree green band. More than 12 colors were used to paint each plate. Majolica Garden Luncheon Plate is not vitrified and is therefore more fragile and not safe for oven use. However it is safe for the microwave and dishwasher.
